Family Adventure Travel to China report from Bonnie and Robbie Cape, who traveled to China with Custom Travel Adventures with their kids of 16,14 and 11yrs.
We were VERY pleased with the service provided by Peta. She planned an exciting and interesting itinerary with events and activities that were of interest to all 5 of us. We had a fabulous family adventure tour; likely our most excellent vacation ever.
Highlights of our trip
Truly, it was all amazing. We loved the cities. We loved the villages. We LOVED the food!
Our favorite part was the 2-day Tiger Leaping Gorge hike. It was spectacular.
We had a meal with a local village family in Lijiang, which was wonderful.
We loved our day in Xian, especially the bike ride on the city walls.
Volunteering with the pandas was fun, and definitely an experience. We wish we had gotten o see the babies, and we know they had babies, but they said we couldn’t see them
Our tour guides were all local to the cities they toured us in, so that was excellent.
